Founded in 2007, the Council of Academic Workforce Housing is a group of foundations, non-profits, and university departments that develop and manage affordable housing programs for employees of universities.
We provide a forum for education, networking, and sharing best practices in the field of Academic Workforce Housing amongst programs. No formal organization exists in our volunteer-based group. We believe that we gain strength and knowledge from each other as we work to better serve our residents.
The Conference on Academic Workforce Housing (CAWH) is the annual gathering of the Council of Academic Workforce Housing. Every year, we gather at a different institution of higher education to learn about its faculty housing program and to share information, expertise and experiences.
